Consider the option of a 0 percent balance transfer credit card, which allows you to pay a small fee to transfer the balance of an existing card to the new card which, for a specified period of time, will accrue no interest. How exactly does this work, and when is it a good idea? If you have numerous credit cards with high interest rates, you may want to look into this option.
